Quality Retail Group to open its doors in Sharjah, UAE

The renowned retail chain Quality Retail group is expanding into the United Arab Emirates with two new multi-faceted hypermarkets in the city of Sharjah. Quality Retail Group has 8 operational retail outlets in Qatar and as part of its global expansion plans, they are opening hypermarkets and malls in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Muscat, Kerala and Malacca, Malaysia by the end of the year 2017.

In the Emirate of Sharjah, the Group is opening its outlets in Al Manakh and King Abdul Aziz in the city of Sharjah, in the second and third quarter of this year respectively. The first outlet in Al Manakh entails a total space of 100,000 square feet, spread across two floors, and offering a variety of products and services under one roof.  The new Hypermarket will feature a range of provisions, household items, and a wide range of food products, inclusive of cooking stations, fresh food counters, butchery, roastery, bakery and delicatessen. Besides food provisions, an entire floor of the Hypermarket will be dedicated to an extensive selection of clothing and fashion accessories, electronics, home appliances and more. In addition, Quality Hypermarket will include a range of services such as foreign exchanges, beauty salons, mobile gadgets kiosks, confectioneries, laundry, pharmacy and an extensive food court, offering multiple cuisines and fast food joints.

The second outlet is under progress and will begin its operations in the third quarter of this year. Located in the heart of Sharjah, the new Hypermarket will elevate the shopping and entertainment scene of the city. With an area of 160,000 square meters of retail space, the Hypermarket will also feature a range of products and services over three floors. In addition to the regular set of provisions and additional services, this Hypermarket will also feature a children’s play area and conceptual entertainment corner.

With the onset of the two outlets in Sharjah and other upcoming projects in other Emirates, Quality Retail Group will achieve a relevant share of UAE’s retail market.
