Quality Group Launched Operations in Hong Kong

Qatar-headquartered Quality Group International has announced that it has further expanded its footprint in the international market by starting an Administrative Office and Logistics Base out of Hong Kong.

Quality Impex Limited, a subsidiary of the Group, launched its operations last week at Tsim Sha, Salisbury Road, Hong Kong.

The “world-class” export center will attend to purchase, process, re-label and export non-food products manufactured in adjoining areas.

The facility was formally inaugurated by Mr. Shamsudheen Olakara, Chairman of Quality Group, in the presence of the attendees including local officials.

The Group has undertaken this venture to facilitate the trading of electronic products and household items which are developed, processed and manufactured across the commercial cities of Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, China and export the same to GCC countries such as Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and U.A.E, through Hong Kong which will act as a portal of Trade and the Administrative Office, connecting the South East Asia sector to the Group

“Our group has been importing high-quality Chinese and bordering localities local made products for the past many years to cater to thousands of shoppers through our retail and wholesale units,” Olakara said during the ceremony, highlighting the longstanding relationships between Quality Group and operators in Hong Kong.

Products ranging from electronics, household appliances and retails are sourced from China and nearby provinces. The success of the company owes much to its well-educated and adaptable workforce, who are on a constant urge to better themselves. Furthermore strong work ethics facilitate the smooth functioning of the company. Last month witnessed the opening of Food Processing and Logistics Base in Guangzhou, Republic of China.

“The $2.2bn-turnover Quality Group operates hypermarkets, supermarkets and shopping malls, in addition to wholesale distribution, food processing and hospitality with operations in the GCC, India and the Far East,” the statement added.
